Lesson Learned

Note to self: Next time I decide to tiptoe through the tulips in a tank top with the goal to get a tan, knowing that my pasty, white Anglo-Saxon shoulders have not seen the sun in years…wear sunscreen! Zoinks! It hurts!

  1. Once you get through the agony of the first sun outing (with the intention of getting a tan)
the second time is not so painful. At the beginning of May, I too was pasty white. Now,
mid june, I am a lovely shade of brown-ish and with any luck, I will keep this color until
October:) That might be asking a bit much.
