Week 2, Day 5

Okay, I’ve almost survived my second week of exercise. It’s been going pretty well I think. One thing I will say, I sure feel better after I’ve worked out. For me personally, my lower back starts to hurt if I don’t work out consistently. Funny, it never did that before! Oh well. I guess that’s just more motivation.

Yesterday, I did Billy’s 8-minute workout again. I was going to do it twice but it was already late and I just wanted to be done. Today I did Tony Horton’s Power Half Hour. I don’t think I included that in my workout video inventory. My legs feel a bit like jello. Tony Horton’s videos are from Beach Body as is Turbo Jam and Slim In 6. Their slogan is “Decide. Commit. Succeed.” My daughter thought it said, “Decide. Commit. Suicide.” Um. I don’t know about you but that just doesn’t sound like something I would want to buy with a slogan like that. I really don’t think that would make their videos sell very well, but that’s just me. Of course, after doing some of them, that might be how you feel! And yes, I taught my daughter to read. Sigh. 🙂

Well, off I go to de-nastify (for those of you who don’t know, that just means I need to shower), if I can stand up again! How has your week gone so far? Were you able to squeeze some time into your day? I know it sure is hard to do that sometimes.

  1. I literally laughed out loud when i read the bit about “Decide, Commit, Suicide”. Your children are just too cute! Good luck with the dieting. I am starting a work out routine again as well. The holidays weren’t so kind on my hips. love you!
